SENIOR CONSULTANT
FOR STRATEGY AND FUNDRAISING

The British Initiation Society (BRIS) is the body that trains Mohelim and regulates
Bris Milah in the UK to ensure its safe and continued provision. We are a core
communal organisation, with a history of continuous service of over 280 years.
We are seeking a highly skilled consultant,
able to think strategically, to work
alongside the Society's existing leadership,
playing a key role in shaping the Society’s
future by managing and coordinating the
Society’s various projects, including
spearheading education and PR
campaigns, ensuring continued progress in
its modernisation and development, as
well as taking a leading role in high-level
fundraising initiatives.

The role will suit an experienced, and
highly organised professional with a
deep understanding of the dynamics of
both the Chareidi and wider Anglo-
Jewish communities. A proactive,
articulate leader who can drive key
initiatives and engage high-level
stakeholders. Excellent written &
spoken English and strong grasp of
Hebrew religious terminology a must.

- Experience in strategic planning and project management (essential)
- Experience advising complex charities on governance/operations (essential)
- Organisational, IT and communication skills (essential)
- Experience in the outreach and education sectors (preferred)
- Salary subject to experience
