Tsur Yisrael (Gibraltar Minyan) is a vibrant orthodox community established over two decades ago, principally by Gibraltarians living in NW London, to perpetuate the centuries-long Gibraltar nusach.

 We are based in the Bet Meir building at the LSJS building on Albert Road, Hendon, where we've been located for well over a decade.

 Today's demographic has developed into a young, professional community of some 40 families mainly comprising Gibraltarian, English, Spanish, French, Italian, American and Israeli families, most of which are Sefardí, albeit with a growing Ashkenazi presence.

We are seeking a part-time Rabbi to lead our spiritual growth and to build on the excellent work of our former Rabbi Jacob Benzaquen - our Rabbi for the last seven years, who has recently accepted a full time role with another community - and his wife. 

The ideal candidate (Sefardi or Ashkenazi) will likely have a full time job and he will be looking to supplement that with this weekly Shabbat role as well as during Jewish holidays. 

As we are a community of members who generally already attend shiurim during the week, inspiring and content-rich shabbat morning derashot will be an important part of our Rabbi's role.
